The Boy In The Striped Pajamas. by: John Boyne The Boy In The Striped Pajamas is about a 9 year old boy named Bruno, him and his family moved away because Bruno's dad is a commandant for the Nazi's!
Bruno's lives with his mother, father, and the hopeless case, which he calls his sister Gretel all the time. Bruno meets someone when he goes exploring one day and starts to bond.
His mother cries all the time, nobody tells him anything, what do you think is going on?
I loved this book, it all ties together and has alot of suprises from his own family and his friend.
I think someone would like this book if they like drama, sadness, and exitment all in one book! Reviewed By: Victoria Bustamante
Bruno. A nine year old boy. A Nazzi comandors son. The brother to a hopless case. And an explorer.
"Hail Hitler!" Those are the words Bruno hears nearly every day when soliders march into his house in Outwith. His father, the comander, and the Fury, Adolf Hitler, team up against the Jewish religon people. It went down in history as the Hosticost.
If you start to read -The Boy in the Striped Pajamas- you will go on an adventure with nine year old Bruno. And sooner or later you and Bruno will find a fence, travel to it, and sit. Fences like this excist all over the world. I hope you NEVER have to encounter, see, or even think of one.
Although the book and major mothin film brought tears to my eyes, Jhon Boyle did a magnificant job writing, describing, and puting so much emotions into it. Also, even though the book is based apon a nine year old boy, i would deffinently recomend it too an older age. A age where you can understand that this really happend and not make fun of it(unless it is a joke). An age like 11 or so and up. But deffinently i would highly recomend this amazing book!
In this story you will go on a journey with a 9 year-old boy named Bruno through the time of the Holocost. This Bruno loves to explore, but when he has to move from Berlin to Out-With, there aren't many places to explore at Out-With. That was only until he sees a dot in the distance, that becomes a speck, that became a blob, that became a fugure, that ends up being a boy.
I would definately recommend this book, especially to people who are interested in historic events. This book is very well written. I give this book a very high rating.
What a magnifacant book. The boy in the striped pajamas is about a nine year old boy named Bruno. His father is a Nazi commander, and they live right next to a consintration camp. One day Bruno goes exsploring. He finds a boy sitting on the other side of the fence. They become best friends. When Bruno is told he has to move away, he does something nobody should every do. Read this book to find out what happens. I would give this book five stars and would recamend it to readers ages 13 and up. I hope you read this book because I know you will love it as much as I did.
